Capitol’s broad stamping platform provides for a diverse offering of pulleys and sheaves. We manufacture split steel pulleys in sizes ranging from 3” up to 11” in diameter. These products are produced in a variety of groove configurations to meet your requirements. Numerous sizes and configurations have already been tooled, eliminating corresponding tooling costs. Additionally, Capitol has extensive in-house welding capabilities including robotics, and various riveting and fastening equipment which can provide for attachment of hub, bearings, and other further assembly.

Our stamping platform also provides for flexibility and customization of stamped steel pulleys, sheaves, and idlers. We offer a variety of pulley configurations including: plain-flat-V-groove-and cable. Again we have numerous in-house tooling already available thus eliminating tooling costs. Capitol has extensive riveting capability for pulley assembly. Other assembly techniques are also available in house which includes welding, brazing, as well as Tog-L-Loc construction fastening. Hub attachment, bearing, and further assembly options such as double stack assemblies are also available. Capitol also offers a complete line of composite pulley products in various sizes and configurations.

Capitol has extensive experience and expertise in the design and manufacture of idler pulleys. This know-how is supported by a thorough knowledge of appropriate bearings for your idler application. Pertinent test data and field results relating to specific performance is taken into consideration.
