Capitol’s welding capabilities are diverse and add value to our components. We have two robotic units available with turntable loading which provide flexible, consistent, and cost effective fastening. Twelve automatic mig welders are used at various stages throughout manufacturing for fastening pulley and stamped components. Additionally, we utilize three semi automatic resistance units for attaching fastening pieces to various components during the assembly process. Capitol has broad and flexible welding capabilities to support our value added assembly platform.

We utilize eleven riveting machines, some of which are automated, in our fastening operations. These are employed primarily in assembly of stamped pulley and idler products but are also used in further assembly applications.

Capitol Stampings Corp. has over 60 years of experience in the metal stamping field. As a result, we have depth and expertise in tooling design and manufacture; many tooling options are already available. Our tool room know how is solid and it supports our value added and assembly mindset.
